Arthur Friesenhahn

September 18, 1919 — June 3, 2009

Arthur L. Friesenhahn, age 89 of Selma, Texas, passed away on June 3, 2009. Arthur served his country during WWII from 1942 until 1945 in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, & daughter Denise. Arthur is survived by his sons, Loren, Jerry, Perry, & Terry Friesenhahn; daughters, Kandy Combs, Tammy Avalos, & Sharon McCoy; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; & his companion Millie Zimmerman. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 8, 2009 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma with Reverend Jose De La Rosa as the Celebrant. Inurnment to follow at a later date at Selma Cemetery #2. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association: 7400 Louis Pasteur, Ste. 200 San Antonio, Texas 78229.
