Art Trevino, age 74 of Schertz, passed away on January 30, 2008. He was born to Francisco & Emma (Salinas) Trevino on August 1, 1933 in Karnes City, Texas. Art was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alfonso Trevino; sister, Eva Trevino and brother, Adolio Trevino. He is survived by his wife, Carmen, Schertz; brother, Alvaro Trevino, Windcrest; sisters, Elsa Leal, Windcrest, Estella Villarreal & husband, Gonzalo, Karnes City, Elvia Trevino, Windcrest and Emma Hartley, Schertz; sister-in-law, Frances Medrano and numerous nieces, nephews, additional relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a Rosary being Recited at 7:00 PM) on Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be Celebrated at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Greg Nevlud as the Celebrant. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
