Arnold Windecker

Arnold Konrad Windecker, born on November 23, 1922, passed away on August 22, 2016, at the age of 93. Arnold was a retired Lutheran Pastor. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine Windecker; parents, Konrad and Frieda Windecker; brothers, Dr. Leo Windecker and Dr. Roland Windecker. Arnold is survived by his son, Ronald Arnold Windecker and wife Deborah; daughter, Gwendolyn Kay Windecker Shannon and husband Mickey; grandsons, Scott Shannon, Cameron Shannon and wife Morgan, Kevin Windecker and wife Hilary, and Kody Windecker; sister, Anita Windecker; sister- in- law, Betty Jones and husband Jack. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 10:00 AM, at Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at 2:00PM at Boerne Cemetery, Boerne, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any memorial donation be made to Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church, located at 2515 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas, 78218.
