Anthony Covone

Anthony Michael Covone passed away peacefully at ABODE Contemplative Care for the Dying on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born on November 10, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Michael and Katherine Covone. Anthony, who went by Tony and by Butch with his family in Pittsburgh, was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Maria Covone, his sister Patricia, his nephew, Joseph Krenn and his mother and father. He is survived by his sons, Sergio Anthony Covone and Michael Rueben Covone, grandchildren, Ruben Covone and Lydia Covone and his son-in-law Wil Dunn. Tony was a loving husband and father and caring son. He loved his whole family from Pittsburgh to Panama City, Panama. We will have a celebration of Tony's life at his house on Saturday, April 16 at 1:00pm. Family and friends are welcome. A graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to ABODE, Contemplative Care for the Dying, (www.abodehome.org). They were so comforting to Tony in his last days.
