Ann Robison

Ann Louise (Wilson) Robison, born on May 30, 1930, in Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away on April 19, 2016, in Cibolo, Texas, at the age of 85. Ann enlisted in the Air Force in 1949 and after completing her basics, she was stationed at Randolph Air Force Base. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Albert J. Robison. Ann was discharged in 1952. She worked in civil service ending her career at the Academy of Health Sciences at Fort Sam Houston, where she retired from civil service in 1989. Ann was a Charter Member of Cibolo Valley Baptist Church where she was a church secretary and clerk, WMU Director, taught ladies Sunday School, and also sang in the choir. She was a Past Worthy Matron of O.E.S. Schertz Chapter 911 and a member of O.E.S. Seguin Chapter 555. Ann is survived by her brother, Dale Ray Wilson, of Courtland, Ohio; daughter, Cathy A. Holt of Cibolo; son, Alan D. Robison and wife Julia of Schertz; grandson, Joseph D. Holt; granddaughter, Amy Long and their spouses; 2 step grandchildren. Ann also had 1 great grandson, 3 step great-grandchildren 2 step great-great grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces. Visitation will be held on April 26, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on April 27, 2016, at 9:30 AM, at Schertz Funeral Home, Reverend Jeff Roman officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Ann had previously requested that any memorial donation be made to the Cibolo Valley Baptist Church Building Fund.
