Ann Aguilera

Ann T. Aguilera (Johnson) was born, May 29, 1938, passed away on November 4, 2016 at the age of 78. Ann was born in Iowa and raised on a farm. Although she left the farm, the farm never left her. She had many talents and her recent project was designing and building a plant house with her sons Danny and James. She was an avid gardener and seamstress. Ann traveled the world extensively with Joe. She loved observing bird's and feeding them. Ann enjoyed watching the Puffins in Alaska and Iceland and the Penguin in the Antarctic. Lastly, her favorite hobby though was to spoil her grand kids. Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lenora Johnson of Manly, Iowa. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 year, Joseph L. Aguilera of New Braunfels, TX; sons, Joseph Mick Aguilera and wife Tammy of Bulverde, TX, David R. Aguilera and wife Diana of Dallas, TX, James C. Aguilera and wife Teri of Garden Ridge, TX, Danny Aguilera of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Theresa R. Aguilera and husband Eddie of San Antonio, TX, Joann M. Aguilera of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Aguilera, Terra Perez, Rubianne Garcia, Julian Garcia, Mikaela Aguilera, Jordan Garcia, Joseph Perez, Trevor Aguilera; brothers, Robert Johnson and wife Marcia of Eldridge, IA, Leroy Johnson of Manly, IA Dennis Johnson of Manly, IA; sisters, Genny Grube of Mason City, IA and Linda Johnson of Manly, IA. Family is expecting her first great- grand child. A visitation will be held on November 8, 2016 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00PM - 9:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 10:00AM with Father Pat O'brien officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
