Angeline Angie B. McBride, age 85 of New Braunfels, passed away on April 15, 2010 in New Braunfels. Angie was born on July 24, 1924 in Harlingen, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. McBride, whom she married on November 7, 1942. Angie is survived by daughters, Linda Gaudette and Carole Speed & husband, John; twin sister, Helen Syamken; grandchildren, Tracy Dietz & husband, Wade, Diane Kozel & husband, David, David Gaudette, and Trisha Speed; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Darin, Landen, Hayden, and Madeline. Angie received her GED in 1964 and she also received her LVN Certification on August 27, 1965. She was a member of the KJZT Organization. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM (with a Rosary being Recited at 6:00 PM) on Monday, April 19, 2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at St. Jeromess Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Jeromes Catholic Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to A-Med Hospice of San Antonio.
