Andris Vistins

Andris Andreas Vistins born in Germany on December 14, 1944, passed away with his family by his side on March 3, 2019 at the age of 74. Andris grew up in Cleveland, OH before proudly serving in the United States Army for 23 years earning countless medals to include 3 Army Commendation Medals. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and working on his car, whether it was detail cleaning or working on the engine. Andris was a true family man, always making time for friends and family and bringing his jokes with him. He is survived by his loving wife, Jossie Andino-Vistins; children, Jossie Stephens and husband Craig, Perris A. Vistins and husband Sean Horvath, Andris J.R. Vistins; grandchildren, Ari A. Horvath; brother, Marty Vistins. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 9:00AM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
