Amelia Campa

Amelia Cantu Campa, 73, of Eagle Pass Texas, entered the gates of heaven on August 17 th 2017 in Schertz, Texas. Amelia was a homemaker and mother of three who loved to cook. One of the best qualities of Amelia is that she never hesitated to help and share with others no matter if she barely had anything of her own. She married Bernardino Campa just before her 21 st birthday and enjoyed 47 wonderful years of marriage. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Amelia was born to Hilario Cantu and Minerva Ramirez Cantu on November 18th 1943 in Eagle Pass, Texas. Amelia was preceded by her loving husband of 47 years, Bernardino Campa. She is survived by her three children, Bernardino Campa III, Susie Campa, Jose Campa and daughter-in-law Lila Terán-Campa. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Matthew Campa, Marcus Campa and Julia Campa and one great-grandchild, Isabella Campa. She is also preceded by her siblings Esperanza DeLeon, Minerva Alvarado and David Cantu; survived by Lucia Garcia, Edward Cantu, Angie Rodriguez and Hilario Cantu Jr.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00PM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Graveside Services will be held at 9:00AM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Schertz-Cibolo Cemetery.
