Alma Bobbish

Alma Elizabeth Grimes Bobbish, born June 14, 1928, passed from this life October 2, 2012. She is in Heaven with her husband, Charles Bobbish; mother, Julia Coleman Grimes; father, Edwin Warfield Grimes; sisters Daisy Schitoskey, Lucy Giesek, Jackie Greco; and brother, Charles Grimes. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Karen Bobbish, Burlington, MA; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Chris Preston, Garden Ridge, TX; grandson and his wife, Charles and Susan Bobbish, Reston, VA; granddaughters Julia Preston and fianc, Bill Bucher, Austin, TX; Rachel Preston, Austin, TX; Kerri and her husband, Tony Polimeno; her two beloved great-granddaughters, Allison Rose and Grace Lilly Polimeno, Milton, MA; and her sister and brother-in-law, Blanche and James Johnston, San Antonio, TX. A life-long resident of San Antonio, Alma loved her family and was very proud of being one of the founders of Coca Cola's credit union in San Antonio. She enjoyed volunteering at Keystone School and working at the church where she was married, Central Baptist Church. Private services will be held to celebrate her life. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the Alzheimers Association at http://www.alz.org/. The family also deeply appreciates the care that the wonderful staff of Autumn Winds provided Alma.
