Alicia "Nikki" Nicole Hughes, 42 of Schertz, became our Angel on Monday September, 2 nd 2019. Nikki was born in San Antonio May 8 th , 1977, daughter of Cheryl Ivey and Greg Hughes. Graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. Her battle with breast cancer began February 2015 which metastasized into metastatic breast cancer at the beginning of 2019. She was a warrior until the end, utilizing Reiki and other holistic therapy’s. Nikki loved music and singing, with a voice like an angel. Her personality was magnetic, as she never met a stranger. A kind spirit with a sarcastic wit until her last days. Her legacy will continue on as she will be missed by all. Nikki is survived by her parents Cheryl & Glenn Ivey, Greg Hughes;beloved son Ryan Simoncelli; brother, Marcus Hughes; Grandparents, Blanche Ryan, H.A & Eloise Hughes as well as Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
