With great love and deep sorrow, we say goodbye to Al, who lost his battle with Multiple Myeloma at the age of 62. Al was a man of faith, devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, a man whose kindness and strength touched all who knew him.
Al served as a Combat Engineer in the Army, was a dedicated employee of Boeing for almost 27 years, and enjoyed playing golf in his free time. He was a hard worker, always making sure his family was taken care of. Being a father was his greatest pride, but his most cherished role was being "Popo."
He is preceded in death by his parents Simon and Christina Belia Aguilar and brother Simon M. Aguilar.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Christine, daughter Bianca and her husband Ryan, son Derek, 5 grandchildren, several siblings, and countless nieces and nephews.
Al leaves behind a lasting legacy. His memory will live on in the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 10:30AM, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Selma, Texas. Burial will take place at 2:15PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, we would love a plant that can continue to grow and remind us of your thoughtfulness.
