Alexander Guenther, Sr.

Alexander Charles Guenther Sr., age 62, passed away on Monday April 30th, 2018. He was born on August 13th, 1955 in San Antonio, TX. Alex served proudly in the United States Marine Corps and had a long career in the towing service. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Alex was a phenomenal man and always there whenever you needed a helping hand. He was a jack of all trades who had a passion for cooking and cowboy boots. Alex was an active member of the VFW with a strong sense of community. He will forever be remembered and missed by those whose lives he touched. He is survived by his wife Judy, mother Dora, brother Tony (Ginger-wife), 7 children, 13 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Alex are invited to the services at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX . The Viewing will be Friday May 11th, 2018 from 5pm - 9pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday May 12th, 2018 at 10am. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following the funeral at the McQueeny VFW.
