Albert Andrew Ehrsam born on August 17, 1927 in Pittsburg h, PA, passed away on September 14, 2015 in Schertz, TX, at the age of 88. He was a United States Marine having served during World War II. Albert graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Banking and worked as an Assistant Vice President of Pittsburgh National Bank (PNB). He was employed by PNB for more than 40 years. Albert was one of the founders and President of the Chartiers Township Volunteer Fire Department in Houston, PA. He served as President of Donora, PA Rotary Club and the Canonsburg, PA Kiwanis Club; he also was an officer of Middle Mongahlea Industrial Development Corporation. Albert was an active member of numerous organizations including, , the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rights of Syria Temple, the Arab Patrol Freemasonry Northern Masonic of the Jurisdiction U.S.A. Valley of Pittsburg, PA, the Garden Ridge Republican Club and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was an avid sports fan. He especially loved football. His favorite college football team was the University of Pittsburgh and recently because of his grandson's Texas Tech University and the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Wilhelmina Ehrsam; son, Keith Andrew Ehrsam. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Ehrsam; daughters, Carol Ehrsam-Niemann with husband Bobby M.D., Patricia Ehrsam-McCabe with husband Michael Sr.; grandchildren, Patrick and Caitlyn Marie Szymkowiak, Hugh, Michael Jr., Joseph and Matthew McCabe; great-grandchild, Ariana Szymkowiak; cousins, Marlene Proudly-Burt, Eric Gradl, Lori Woelfel, Reinhold Schramm, Charles Sitzenkopf (dec) with daughter Maryan Ramey.
