Albert Damiano

Albert V Damiano, born September 26, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on April 12, 2021 at his home in Cibolo, TX at the age of 88. Albert is preceded in death by his spouse of 66 years Eleanor A Damiano parents, Frank and Frances Damiano.

He is survived by his sons Peter M Damiano, Paul V Damiano and Ronald A Damiano, his daughter Linda F Schneider and her spouse Michael Schneider, his grandchildren Paul A Damiano, Barry D Damiano, Lisa M Hatch, Michael S Schneider and Joseph P Schneider and eight great grandchildren Cameron, Katelyn, Cassidy, Kara Hatch and Jacob, Madelyn, Benjamin and Andrew Schneider.

He resided most of his natural life in Selden Ny from July of 1967 until November of 2018. He was a parishioner of St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Parish in Selden Ny for 51 years. Albert enjoyed singing in the church choir, was an usher and involved with small communities of faith. He was an avid gardener, tinkered on his cars, loved fishing on Long Island, RV and camping across the United States. He enjoyed music and dancing and bowling with his wife.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be conducted on Monday, April 19, 2021, 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, TX. He will be interred at a later date at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY.
