Aileen Webb

June 16, 1930 — May 19, 2011

Aileen Albright Webb, born on June 16, 1930, passed away on May 19, 2011, at her home in Universal City, Texas, at the age of 80. Born to Gus and Aletha Mae Albright in Graham, Texas, Aileens forebears were a hearty pioneering family, from which she inherited a resilience that lasted her to the end. She met her future husband, John Lee Webb, in Graham High School. Aileen attended nursing school while John joined the Air Force, later joining him in Germany, where they were married. With Aileens unfailing support, John Lee served a distinguished career in the Air Force, wherein the couple traveled the world through Air Force billets. The couple retired in Universal City, where Aileen supported John Lee through another full career at Judson High School, with Judson Football at the center of their lives, until finally they retired for good. Throughout her life, Aileen was an active volunteer with Red Cross, Republican Womans Club, and local food banks. Her husband, John Lee Webb, and daughter, Connie preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, John Mark Webb and his wife, Lori, and granddaughter, Robin. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Graveside Service on Friday, June 17, 2011, at 10:30AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
