Addie Lee Tompkins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went home to be with the Lord April 5, 2019 at the age of 93. She is survived by her son, Buddy Tompkins & wife Jamie of Pisgah Forest, NC; daughter, Becky Stark & husband Terry of Albany, GA; grandchildren Matthew & Jax Tompkins; Shelley Stark Swan & husband Jon Swan of Leesburg, GA; John David Stark & wife Jessica Stark of Cibolo, TX; great grandchildren Evelyn, Charlotte, Danzig, and Pepper Jo. Her beloved "Honey" Jack Tompkins, her son Biff Tompkins, her parents, John & Myrtle Morrison of Wichita Falls, TX, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death. She was born September 2, 1925, in Wichita Falls, TX, married Jack Tompkins on April 23, 1943 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was a tax payer service representative for the IRS. She and her family made many wonderful, unforgettable friends in many places they called home: Wichita Falls, Abilene, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, Denver, Colorado, Marshall, San Angelo, Cibolo, TX and Albany, GA. She was an avid supporter of her "Honey" and choir member with the Texas Baptist Builders. She was a member of Everyday Christian Fellowship and continued her support even after moving to Albany. Friends and family are invited to the Visitation on Friday, April 12, from 5:00-7:00 PM, and the funeral services Saturday, April 13, at 10:00AM, both in the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel, Schertz, TX. Interment will follow the services at 3:00PM at Cook Walden Capital Park Cemetery, Austin, TX.
