Adan Gonzalez, Jr.

Our loved one has left us, Master Sergeant Adan Gonzalez, Jr., age 71, passed away on October 20, 2017 in Schertz, Texas. He was born on December 31, 1945 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Adan was married to his loving wife Maria A. Gonzalez for 34 years in Torrejon, Spain. He was retired from the United States Air Force in 1984 after 21 years of service. In 2014 he retired from the United States Postal Service after working there for 10 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Adan and Maria Gonzalez, Sr., his brothers and sister in law: Eleodoro (Carmen) Gonzalez, Sr., Manuel H. Gonzalez, and brothers in law: Alfredo Pantoja and Daniel S. Lopez.

Adan is survived by his wife Maria A. Gonzalez; a previous marriage son and daughter: Christopher and Lorraine Gonzalez (2 grandchildren); brother and sister in law: Valdemar Gonzalez and wife Patsy; sisters: Yolanda Pantoja and Sara G. Lopez; sister in law: Sylvia Gonzalez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Schertz Funeral Home (with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with Graveside Services immediately following at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with full military honors.

After Funeral Services a reception will be held at the Schertz VFW.
